Rosalind's situation is real, difficult, and is shared by many.
I noticed her dichotomy of distinguishing between work and prayer, which for her may include pious devotions and time inside Church.
I want to share to her St.Josemaria's teaching that work is also prayer, offered to God for praise, thanksgiving or petitions.
Moreover, work is hard,tiring & stressful; it can also be hazardous and can kill you.
One does not need time outs to pray and worship God, but rather we pray where we are. And since we have offered the work to God, it is His now and therefore we do it without complaint but with love and joy knowing we do God's Work.
Also, hope in the Spirit and know that the best is coming soon; always listen to His whispers. If we cheerfully strive to do good work, albeit difficult, we become good workers and promotions come our way, with our developed skills and expertise.
In our work, learn to offer your other cheek if slapped; physically or emotionally, as Our Saviour did. With acceptance of God's will comes spiritual happiness and wealth, knowing your reward in heaven is increasing. And lastly, never fear death. Muslims and Christians believe that death is the start of eternal Life. Stop looking for paradise here on earth, we find it after death; away from pain and suffering here on earth.
